XIV международный хоровой конкурс и фестиваль Бад-Ишль

Международный хоровой конкурс и фестиваль Бад-Ишль открывает свои двери уже в 14-й раз. За это время конкурс, который проводится в самом сердце живописного курортного региона Зальцкаммергут, приобрёл статус одного из самых значимых и красивых хоровых мероприятий в Австрии. Всемирно известные судьи и хоровые эксперты оценивают выступления участников и помогают им словом и делом на выступлениях с обсуждением.

Помимо конкурсной программы в Доме конгресса, исполнители будут давать гала-концерты, дружеские концерты и участвовать в церковных службах. Однако, наиболее ярким событием и кульминацией фестиваля станет международный парад хоров, который пройдёт в центре этого курортного городка. Межкультурные встречи исполнителей и любителей хорового пения делают данное мероприятие поистине незабываемым событием.

          Выступление с обсуждением (Evaluation Performance)

          Для хоров, НЕ участвующих в конкурсе
          • Три произведения на выбор
          • Выступление перед международным жюри, которое обсудит с хором программу в открытой и непринужденной атмосфере и даст свои рекомендации по улучшению исполнительского уровня
          • Хор получит сертификат об участии, а также по желанию оценку выступления и рекомендацию для участия в последующих конкурсах INTERKULTUR

          Для хоров, участвующих в конкурсе
          • Представление своей конкурсной программы за день до начала конкурса

          • Обсуждение программы никак не влияет на результат выступление хора в конкурсе

          Репетиция с зарубежным дирижёром (Individual Coaching)

          • Одно произведение на выбор хора
          • Репетиция со всемирно признанным хоровым экспертом с целью получения новых художественных идей и импульсов
          • Для получения большего эффекта от репетиции просьба к хорам подготовить произведение заранее

          Бад-Ишль и его окрестности - идеальное место для дружеских концертов. Концерты будут проходить на популярных концертных площадках, церквях и парках. У хоров есть возможность подать заявку на общие выступления с другими хорами из разных стран.

          Просьба подготовить программу примерно на 20 минут, которая должна быть предварительно одобрена художественным комитетом. Концертная программа должна исполняться преимущественно а-капелла или со своими инструментами.

          Некоторые дружеские концерты запланированы на открытой сцене. При плохой погоде эти концерты могут быть отменены. В этом случае организаторы постараются найти альтернативные возможности проведения концерта, но не могут этого гарантировать.

          Хоры могут также подать заявку для участия только в дружеских концертах (без участия в конкурсе).

          Хоры, победившие в своей категории, имеют возможность принять участие в борьбе за главный приз. Жюри оставляет за собой право также пригласить другие хоры для этого соревнования. Победитель получит Главный Приз Бад-Ишля 2018 в размере 2.000 €.

          • Программа: два произведения а капелла на свободный выбор, которые не были представлены в конкурсной программе. Произведения должны быть заранее одобрены художественным комитетом.
          • Продолжительность исполнения: максимум 8 минут.

          Нестареющую привлекательность и атмосферу летней резиденции нельзя нигде лучше изучить, чем здесь. Этот летний курорт был построен в середине XIX века и успешно развивается по сей день.

          Летняя резиденция императора Франца Йозефа оставила заметные следы: от "питейного зала" (Trinkhalle) и бывшего курортного особняка до сегодняшнего музея города, в котором прошла помолвка юного императора с Сисси, ставшей впоследствии его женой и императрицей Елизаветой Австрийской и Венгерской. Подлинные сцены этой эпохи Вам предлагают, например, вилла императора в парке и бывшая придворная кондитерская Цаунер.

          The Kongress & TheaterHaus Bad Ischl is the most modern event centre of the Salzkammergut region. It is situated in the centre of the imperial town, surrounded by greenery of the Spa-Park, in front of a spectacular mountain panorama. This is the main venue for competitions and official events, such as opening concert, grand prize competition and awards ceremony.

          Colorful summer flowers, roses and shrub rarities bloom in the magnificent spa gardens, which frame the Kongress & TheaterHaus. In the spring and summer months the garden invites you to linger and provides a great stage for cultural events and exchange with its recently renovated bandstand. The bandstand in the spa park is picturesque landscape for the choir parade and opening event.

          Trinkhalle

          Address: Auböckplatz 5, 4820 Bad Ischl

          The architectural design of the “Trinkhalle“ is reminiscent of an ancient Greek temple and was originally used as a brine bath house. It was created by Franz Lössl and features, among other things, a beautiful foyer. Construction work began in 1829, followed by the opening two years later. The elegant and spacious interior provides ample room as it measures almost 80 meters in length. It consequently served as pump room and lobby for the guests and patients at the spa that came here to drink the waters. Later, a stage was installed for the spa orchestra to entertain the guests, and today the ”Trinkhalle“ is a treasured all-round venue for a wide variety of different concerts and events. This venue is location for friendship concerts and the final choir party.

          Stadtpfarrkirche St. Nikolaus

          Address: Auböckplatz 3, 4820 Bad Ischl

          The remarkable 72-meter-high spire juts out into the sky above St. Nikolaus Parish Church. In the interior of the church there are numerous artistic treasures that strike the eye, including frescoes, altarpieces, a carved version of the stations of the cross and, above all, the "Kaiser-Jubiläums-Orgel", a unique masterpiece of an organ nowhere else to be found in Austria. The church is venue for friendship concerts and competitions.

          Prof. Dr. Ralf Eisenbeiß

          Ralf Eisenbeiß was born in 1952 in Zeulenroda. After his secondary school examination he studied pedagogy, German philology and musical education. He received his PhD in 1979 at the Pedagogical University of Zwickau. From 1978 to 1981, he studied choir and orchestra conducting at the Franz Liszt Conservatory in Weimar.

          Ralf Eisenbeiß was working as the director of the choral department at the Pedagogical University in Zwickau and appointed professor for choir conducting and choral singing in 1987. He was conductor of the renowned Pedagogical University Zwickau Choir. With his choir he performed a wide repertoire of compositions for a cappella choirs and with orchestra, too. Under his direction the choir won numerous prizes at national and international choir competitions.

          Ralf Eisenbeiß was lecturer at the central seminar for choral conductors in Berlin and organized numerous workshops himself. He often appears as guest conductor at home and abroad. Since almost 30 years he works as artistic director of INTERKULTUR. Ralf Eisenbeiß is founder of the Int. Robert Schumann Choir Competition in Zwickau and one of the founders of the World Choir Games. Since 1992 he was responsible for more than 150 international competitions of INTERKULTUR in Germany, Italy, Korea, Indonesia, China, Austria, Spain, USA and other countries. Ralf Eisenbeiß is very often invited as a juror in national and other international choir competitions all over the world.

          Romāns Vanags

          Romāns Vanags is a graduate of Emils Darzins' specialized music college and of the Department of Choir and Orchestra Conducting of Jazeps Vitols' Latvian State Conservatory in Riga. He has received a diploma in choir conducting and in music pedagogy and additionally studied orchestra conducting.

          In 2003, Vanags received the master's degree in music. His professional work is focused on conducting and pedagogy. He served as the Chief Conductor of the teachers' choir "Vanema" for a long time and since 1990 as the principal Conductor of the Latvian University female choir "Minjona". Furthermore he was Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of Jāzeps Mediņš Music School boys` choir and worked with the Jazeps Medins Music College Symphonic Orchestra. From 1987 thru 1994, Vanags was employed at the Latvian Music Academy in Riga as professor of choir conducting and as the conductor of the academy choir. From 2005 to 2012 Vanags was the head of the Conducting Department.

          Vanags has been appointed as one of the chief conductors of the All Latvian Song Celebration and the Youth Song Festival. Since 2004, Vanags is the chairman of the Latvian National Commission for UNESCO on the Latvian Song and Dance Festival, and since 2008, he is also a member of the World Choir Council. In 2008 Romāns Vanags received the highest civil decoration in Latvia – the Three Star Order. Romāns Vanags was a member of the artistic committee of the 8th World Choir Games in Riga and belongs since 2014 to the Artistic Board of INTERKULTUR.

          Stathis Giftakis (Greece)

          Stathis Giftakis was born in Kalamata in 1967. He studied piano with Dora Bakopoulos and composition with Theodore Antoniou.

          Works of him have been successfully performed in Greece and abroad (Turkey, France, Germany, Italy, Canada, Russia, Belgium, U.S.A., Portugal, Austria and Holland) among others by the Athens State Orchestra, the Greek Ensemble of Contemporary Music, the National Opera Ensemble, the Orchestra of Colours, the Kamerata Orchestra, the Arcadian Woodwind Quintet, the ARTéfacts ensemble, the Danubia Winds Orchestra, the Kalamata Symphonic Orchestra and the Kalamata Municipal Youth Orchestra.

          Works of him have been selected for and then distinguished in workshops of contemporary music and awarded in several competitions. Many compositions of Stathis Giftakis have been performed or commissioned by festivals such as the “Athens Greek Festival”, the "International Kalamata Music Days" festival, the "Volos Music Theatre Festival", the "Kalamata Dance Festival", the "Greece in Milan" festival, the "Aegena Music Festival", the "Mediterranean Music Festival" in Istanbul and the "Festival of Sacred Music in Patmos". He is a member of the Greek Composers' Union.

          Furthermore, Stathis Giftakis was appointed as the Artistic Director of the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata from 2003 to 2009 and then again since September 2015. At 2017 he was appointed as the Local Artistic Director of the Kalamata International Choir Competition and Festival.

          Stathis Giftakis teaches piano and theory at the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata and is one of the funding members of the "International Kalamata Music Days" festival.

          Christoph Mac-Carty (Netherlands)

          Christoph Mac-Carty was born in 1969 in southern Germany. He studied music at conservatories in Germany, The Netherlands and Switzerland.

          For more than 20 years Christoph Mac-Carty has been living and working in the Netherlands both as a pianist and as a choir conductor.

          His choir "Dekoor Close Harmony" won first prizes at the "World Choir Games" in the categories Pop (2012 & 2014) Jazz (2010, 2012 & 2014). In 2014, "Dekoor" was invited by the "Rolling Stones" to sing with them at the "Pinkpop" (Netherlands) and "Werchter Classic" (Belgium) Festivals. In 2016 & 2018, "Dekoor" performed at the well known "Sziget Festival" in Hungary.

          Christoph Mac-Carty gives masterclasses and workshops for choirs, has been a jury member at choir festivals around Europe and teaches vocal ensembles at the Conservatorium Enschede (Netherlands).

          Besides being a conductor he is an in demand jazz pianist in the Netherlands. With his trio "Robinson, Freitag and Caruso" he won the "Dutch Jazz Competition" in 2005 at the North Sea Jazz Festival.

          Another part of his artistic work is composing for and performing in music theater productions.

          Marit Zetterström (Sweden)

          Marit Zetterström is the Manager of Choir Center West in the region of Västra Götaland, Sweden. Choir Centre West is part of the cultural administration Kultur i Väst and their aim is to strengthen and develop the choir scene regionally. This is done by offering courses and consultations, initiating events, and spreading choir research.

          Marit Zetterström is a conductor, producer, logonom/speech therapist, guest lecturer and former chair of the Swedish Choral Council. She is often chosen to produce national choral activities, projects, festivals and conferences. As a freelance conductor, consultant and inspirer she has been working all over Sweden. Marit Zetterström has been a teacher, conductor and speech therapist at the well-known education for Musical Artist at Balettakademien in Gothenburg. She was a member of the Academy of Amateur Culture in Sweden for a couple of years. She was also the Organizer of the national choral activities in Sensus study Association 2008-2016.

          Marit Zetterström is a member of the local artistic committee planning the 4th European Choir Games in Gothenburg 2019.
